PRAYER REQUEST

(This is Corey writing)
Kyle Dewitt and myself have had the pleasure to be nailed with a flu bug today. Apparently last week, 13 students got sick, and some of the staff...now its our turn. I was in tears this morning because we have to stay back. I'm not kidding you-this team is amazing and when you miss a day of it....bummer.

The team is at a ropes course this morning and then later on they will host some kids at a zoo, (where the animals run free apparently!) 2 people have told me that there is no way you would see what is at this park in America. I hope they have a great day. The weather is perfect. I just peaked out for a moment but I'm going back to bed.

DC is our video/picture guy today so hopefully we'll have some photos for you later.

If you could please pray for us...we have a couple of huge days left and we don't plan on spending it on our backs or hugging a toilet.

Adios.

Consider yourselves prayed for.
Feel better!

*Yes, I am SO into checking the blog now. And after what I have seen and learned so far...I find myself praising God so much. As I cleaned today, I praised God for our toilet...yep, the commode. We have been blessed with so much that I take for granted....thanks for helping me grow even more in my faith. As for commodes...I pray that your need to be embracing one will quickly pass.

Corey,

Just wanted to let you know that I am praying hard for you and Kyle. I know it is not easy to stay behind, but maybe God wants to show you something right where you are. Just take it easy and get better.

Well Corey, with not much to do with this broken wrist I find one of my highlights is to periodically check the blog several times a day looking for updates. My heart sank for you and Kyle when I read you were sick. You definitely have my prayers, I know I wouldn't want to miss any part of such an amazing opportunity. Praying you both feel better in record time,

Karen

Hilary,

I hope you got Mom's message about your TV show. I am so proud of you. Just remember to lean on God when things get tough or you get tired. He is all you need, all you have to do is ask him. He knows what you need before you do. Mom and I are praying for you and the whole team. Tell Corey and Kyle that I hope they get well soon.

Love Dad

Since the team left, I've found myself glued to this blog. Thank you Corey and DC for keeping those of us at home very much a part of God's plan at work in Monterrey. I've been blessed beyond words reading and viewing the blog. Please know that I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers,as are the rest of my family across the country. Corey and Kyle, I wish you God's speed in your recovery from the flu bug. Kalie girl, you are exactly where you should be, as are the rest of this awesome mission team! Soak it up and know that all of you are witnesses to God's glory.

Love you, Mom

Corey and Kyle,
God speed in your recovery as we know that you want to join the rest of the team in "making memories" and ministering to others.
Johnny, DC & Corey, THANK YOU so much for the devotion that you have with our youth and with all Gods children!! God will definitely be greeting you with "Well Done My Child"!!
I am so envious of the opportunity that each of you have to impact the lives of others in far away places, and with Gods blessing I will some day be able to join you all serving those outside our community.
We pray that each of you will have such an AWESOME adventure while serving these precious people.
Please Know that you are all in our prayers.
Minimom and Dad K.

Two words ... Peanut Butter. Eat it! It will make the stuff in your stomach stick there. Ok, I don't really know that for sure, but it worked when we got sick in Juarez, Mexico. We kept trying the Pepto thing, but the staff guy said peanut butter. In the end Pepto zero, peanut butter one (won).

Anyway, love you guys. Hope ... nope, scratch that ... KNOW you guys will feel better soon. Rock on! - Judy
